Pricing & engagement options

Pick the relationship. The price follows.

Three ways to engage: Full Custom, Design Partner, or Build & Host. Each is fixed-scope and fixed-fee, with a one-page proposal in writing within a few days of the discovery call. No public price grid — every portfolio's stack and constraints are different, and a grid would lie.

01 — The three options

Three ways to engage.

Different operators have different priorities: exclusivity, time-to-launch, cash-flow shape, willingness to host the operational burden. The option that fits is the one that matches the priority, not the cheapest line item.

02 — How pricing actually gets set

What the conversation covers.

The discovery call is 30 minutes. The proposal that follows is one page. The pricing math is built from the workflow, the stack, and the engagement option you pick — not a rate card.

Why no public price grid?
Every portfolio's stack, property count, and operational priorities are different. A published grid would either over-promise on cheap engagements or scare off operators with simpler needs. The discovery call is short and free; the proposal is concrete within a few days.
What variables move the price?
Portfolio size, number of integrated platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, direct, Hospitable, AppFolio, QuickBooks, Gmail), complexity of the agent layer (deterministic vs. judgment-required), and the engagement option chosen. The smallest sensible scope — one high-leverage workflow built in two to three weeks — is the most common starting point.
What does the Design Partner discount actually buy you?
Approximately half the upfront fee, perpetual license to the version built for your portfolio (including any configuration unique to your operation), and a written carve-out preventing NexStride from selling the same implementation across the street in your market. What it doesn't buy: permanent industry exclusivity. The pattern can be commercialized for operators outside your market.
If I pick Build & Host, what's covered in the monthly?
System hosting on NexStride infrastructure, ongoing operations and monitoring, prompt and agent updates as the platforms change underneath you, and small portfolio-change updates (added property, new market) within reasonable scope. Large structural changes — new workflows, new integrations — get scoped as add-ons.
Hourly or short-form retainer?
Available on request — typically for advisory work, AI strategy reviews, or technical due diligence for STR portfolios being acquired. Not the recommended path for "build me a system" work, where fixed-scope is the right shape.
What if the discovery call reveals you're not the right fit?
If the honest answer is "you don't need a custom build — here's the off-the-shelf tool that does this," that's what gets said on the call. The goal is leverage in your operation, not maximizing the invoice.

Tell me what's eating your week.

A 30-minute call. You describe the workflow. I tell you what I'd build, which engagement option fits, how long it would take, and what it would cost — in a one-page proposal a few days later.
